3 GN F45's (#437, #440, 3rd unknown) in the Big Sky Blue paint scheme, on an eastbound priority manifest in Northtown Yard in Minneapolis, seen during the afternoon, with the Northwest Linseed Oil elevator in the right background. The manifest was routed via St. Fergus Falls and St. Cloud, rather than the usual routing for priority traffic, via Willmar. This could be just after the BN merger, sometime in Spring 1970. Scanned with an Epson V550 from a duplicate Ektachrome 35mm slide. Date is approximate. Photographer is unknown. |
